Integral to our mission and projects is the education of such communities on HIV Aids and assistance for families affected, as well as the promotion of environmentally friendly activities and conservation. We raise funds through donations and fund-raising events and pride ourselves on not wasting money on unnecessary administration - your donations go directly towards the project you want to support.

YTD Raised: £0.00Somerset Counselling centre (SCC) was founded in 1990 to provide an affordable psychodynamic counselling service for all members of the community. The centre offers both long-term/ongoing work and brief/time-limited work. Counsellors work to very high standards of professionalism and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice. SCC is accredited by BACP and is an affiliate of the Westminister Pastoral Foundations (wpf) national network of counselling centres. The centre works with a diverse range of needs ranging from depression, relationship issues, addiction, anxiety, panic attacks, work related problems, bereavement, trauma, compulsive disorders, cultural and sexual difference. To enable the centre to continue to offer subsidised counselling sessions to people who would otherwise not be able to afford it we need to look for ways to raise funds. Your support will enable us to continue to provide an affordable counselling service to those people who would otherwise not be able to afford one.
