Thank you for visitingour profile page on MyDonate.Kevin Mwachiro is a communications practitioner who's recently been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer that affects the blood plasma in the marrow. The prognosis is 'goodish' if the right treatment isreceived, However, the treatment is expensive and this is where we need your help. PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A DONATION. Facebook post 11 December 2015It was just over six weeks ago when the nurse kindly asked my visitors to step aside. She knew what was coming. She drew the curtain. We were alone. She was sensitive to the situation, as she knew this was a poignant moment. She was cool peeps too, I liked the way she let her natural hair crown her being. Plus, she never minced her words and always laughed at my foolishness. Deftly she presented this cup of tablets, the shock on my face could not be masked. I mustered a 'WTF!' She looked at me and then I understood why this moment had to be private. This was my 'welcome to chemo moment'. My biggest race had began! Like the school's Parents and Friends Association (PFA), the Foundation has provided money for a significant amount of the school equipment your children use every day. Given the public spending cuts, the value of these donations can only become more important to the school in the coming years.
