(AU, 47836204271) Interested members of the Manly community formed a support group in 2008 called Manly Friends of Oecusse (MFOO). The objectives of the group were to build friendship and support between the people of Manly and the people of Oecusse, Timor Leste; to support the Friendship Agreement made on 12 August 2008 between Manly Council and the district of Oecusse and to provide financial and practical assistance to projects instigated by the local community in the areas of education, clean water and food security.
