Interested members of the Manly community formed a support group in 2008 called Manly Friends of Oecusse (MFOO). The objectives of the group were to build friendship and support between the people of Manly and the people of Oecusse, Timor Leste; to support the Friendship Agreement made on 12 August 2008 between Manly Council and the district of Oecusse and to provide financial and practical assistance to projects instigated by the local community in the areas of education, clean water and food security.
Springvale Park SDS provides for students living in the Noble Park, Springvale and Dandenong areas who have moderate to severe intellectual and multiple disabilities. Our curriculum covers the modified Victorian Essential Learning Standards and various educational programs implemented by a multi-disciplinary team. . All students have an individual learning plan.
RDA SA provides horse riding and related activities as therapy and active recreation for more than 400 people with disabilities in South Australia. One mum, Ronni, says, "Riding for the Disabled is the best thing we have ever done for Matthew." All RDA services are provided by more than 550 volunteers at 13 centres in country and metropolitan SA.

The Ryder-Cheshire Foundation is a small independent charity which supports two overseas homes, Klibur Domin in East Timor and Raphael in northern India, and three within Australia at Ivanhoe (Victoria), Singleton (NSW) and Mt Gambier (South Australia). The Foundation is dedicated to the relief of suffering without discrimination and is run entirely by volunteers. 100% of all money donated reaches the Ryder-Cheshire Homes.
