(UK, 279473SCC) Somerset Cancer Care provides a free service to those in the community affected by cancer. We run informal support groups which are open for 2 hours once a week in Wells, Yeovil, Minehead, Taunton & Weston-S-Mare. We welcome patients, carers, friends and family. There is no need to book in advance or be referred by your GP. As visitors you may benefit from the skills of our highly trained volunteers who are there to: You may also benefit from the support and advice of other users who are experiencing cancer every day. We keep it confidential We treat all your information as strictly confidential to ensure that you have a safe place where, if you wish, you can talk frankly.

We also aim to engender a sense of equality and justice. Engage- we aim to encourage young people to foster a sense of respect for themselves and others. We recognise the individuality and diversity of each young person and aim to work creatively to best meet their needs. We also want to create opportunities for young people to explore questions of faith and spirituality. Enable- LYPP aims to facilitate ways for young people to learn and build new skills and confidence through both formal and informal education settings, enabling young people to reach their full potential. We work in partnership with local organisations and the community of West Lothian to facilitate this.
