Switch on the Future is an expert group of networkers and connectors tackling the root causes of connectivity inequality, bringing people, communities and technology together now and for the future to connect schools and inspire children to emerge from poverty.
Reuben and Friends exists to raise funds to be dedicated to the following causes:- - Aid research into a cure for red cell aplasia (non-production of red blood cells in bone marrow). - Increase awareness of the issues faced by children with bone marrow deficiencies. - Improve the quality of life of children with such conditions, their families and the people who care for them. - Support healthcare facilities and organisations that treat children with these conditions. - Help to promote the vital work carried out by The National Blood Service, The Bone Marrow Registry and The Anthony Nolan Trust.
Shines Children (Uganda) UK Supporters supports work in Masindi, Uganda, to relieve child poverty in a number of ways. We support the provision of clean water, education and healthcare, and community initiatives such as village saving and lending schemes, health information and HIV prevention.
