(UK, Radheshyam) Radheshyam Hope is a Hindu based Charity in Manchester with a motto "Nobody sleeps hungry tonight". RadheShyam Hope was created by a couple living in Manchester who were inspired by the local Hindu priest at Gita Bhavan Hindu Temple Manchester. The charity derives its name from the Hindu God – Krishna, only He who can give Hope to us all. The charity and its family of members believe in the principles of Karma – our good deeds are the only true possessions in our lifetime, the rest is transient or futile. Hindu scriptures mention – Daanam paramam Dharmam, helping someone selflessly is one of the highest forms of our duty. Since its inception in 2016, the charity has gathered steady momentum. The charity members are volunteers from different parts of the world living in the UK. RadheShyam Hope volunteers also take part in local events held at the temple. It is hoped that by sharing their views and goals with the greater community more people will realise that by working together we can make a big difference to the needy and the poor. (UK, 1130227) The Brunswick Youth & Community Centre has a unique history. It was conceived in a World War II Prisoner of War Camp called OFLAG 79 in Brunswick, Germany, where a group of British officers considered their boredom and deprivation and realised that theirs was a situation familiar to young people in the cities of their homeland; young people for whom there existed few diversions and little prospect for escape. They resolved that on their release they would encourage young people to adopt the Brunswick Spirit to fight limitations and restraints imposed by their social environment, learn respect for one another and take the future into their own hands. Amongst these determined British officers were Michael Marshall, Philip Evans and Harry Mounsey, who upon their release from Oflag 79 camp fulfilled their promises and established the Brunswick Boys Club in Liverpool in 1948 To this day, the spirit of the Brunswick is undiminished. The Brunswick relocated to Marsh Lane, Bootle in 1964 and then redeveloped the centre in 1995 which has now become a landmark and community hub that every one knows as “The Brunny”. The Brunswick offers a wide range of services to support all elements of our community from general, open access centre-based junior and senior youth and community provision, Mothers and toddlers group and Ofsted Registered after schools provision, off site outreached and detached youth work and residential trips, to special projects and involvement in local regeneration initiatives, crime prevention measures and youth involvement in local decision making processes, intergenerational projects promoting community cohesion and the integration of different social group, pensioners social group and accredited training for all ages and social back grounds. The Brunswick also offers support for community and residents voices forums, and support for police and community engagement forums, and is currently developing a community garden.

We also take cases from people throughout London and the UK. We specialise in employment, housing, human rights, asylum (particularly children) and community care and have a track record of successful test cases in all our areas of expertise. We offer drop in clinics at several locations as well as appointments at our offices. We represent the most vulnerable people in the community. We have several new fundraising events: Parachute Jump Zena Soormally and Steffen Bolwig are jumping out of a plane at 5000ft on 25 February 2012 to raise money for us. Please donate to support our cause.Due to our location in the Yorkshire Dales with its watery scenery, Settle Area Swimming Pool was first built to provide the children of Settle and surrounding areas with a safe place to learn to swim (a life skill) and a pool for the local community to enjoy. It Is, still to this day, managed by a committee of volunteers who oversee its running. The pool not only teaches a life skill but contributes to the well being of our customers. Settle Area Swimming Pool provides a vital resource and is a huge asset for the local community. It provides a service for all sections of the community - the young, the elderley, those with visual/learning disabilities. As a charity registered pool we rely heavily on grants and donations. With high running costs, donations allow us to continue to provide a warm, friendly, easily accessible pool kept and maintained to the highest standards.
