(UK, 1173665) Every 6 seconds someone contacts Samaritans either by telephone,email,text message or face to face for emotional support to those in distress or despair including people who are suicidal.As a branch we have to fund ourselves entirely,providing telephones, computer equipment,advertising and fundraising to support our 50+ volunteers who answer the phones, do text and email replies and talking to people who come in off the street.
