NAYO focuses its efforts on the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. NAYO runs a range of projects related to HIV/AIDS, environmental protection, care for orphans and vulnerable children, home-based nursing and palliative care, and sustainable income generating activities. One of NAYO's areas of focus is community public health. NAYO provides people with free and eaisly accessable HIV/AIDS antiretroviral drugs, as well as nutritional support where necessary. NAYO currently runs two free nurse led clinics: an HIV/AIDS clinic and a child health clinic. Another key focus of NAYO is the education and capacity building of young people in the community. NAYO runs a free health service center for young people, and supports young people through their education and youth work.
