YTD Raised: $0.00Inspired by the good works being done by the Tenderfeet Education Centre in Kenya a group of Aussies, from the beautiful South West of Western Australia, have come together over the last few years to help make a difference As the ground swell of support grew, it was decided that it was time to start an Australian Charity and Tenderfeet Australia Inc. was born in 2011.As well as supporting the Tenderfeet Education Centre, Tenderfeet Australia will have a special focus on the Kipepeo programme enabling teenage girls to continue into secondary education in safe, nurturing educational environments. Mama Margaret’s powerful work has now inspired people half a world away, and the Tenderfeet ideal is something that all board members and local supporters are proud to be involved with.

The Grange provides an enriching education that commences with preps and continues through the secondary years to VCE. The continuity of curriculum and a seamless transition through primary to secondary years benefits our students both academically and socially. The two campus structure provides an intimacy which allows all students and staff to know each other - this creates a sense of belonging and community, one which empowers the entire school. Our Primary Campus in Callistemon Drive provides a secure, easily supervised and welcoming environment for our primary students. Children are engaged and challenged in wonderfully bright and stimulating learning areas with classes led by a team of teaching professionals. Our Secondary Campus in Deloraine Drive provides a resourced and mature learning environment. It extends the experiences of Primary School in a positive educational climate which encourages a spirit of enquiry and a life long love of learning. Our academic and co-curricular programs at The Grange are designed to encourage the highest standard of achievement in everything our students undertake. The friendly and supportive atmosphere which permeates the entire College is underpinned by a strong code of conduct, a distinctive uniform policy, firm structures and clear expectations. All teaching and support staff take pride in equipping each boy and girl with the essential skills required for life long learning and the breadth of outlook they will need to be confident of their ability to successfully shape their futures in a rapidly changing world.

YTD Raised: $0.00Today they will never walk again. Neil Sachse lives for the day that people with spinal cord injury will walk again. He established the Neil Sachse Foundation as a first step to curing spinal cord injury. Thanks to vital community support, we have established the Neil Sachse Foundation Spinal Cord Injury Research Centre, to provide a dedicated laboratory for researchers and students. As an integral part of the University of Adelaide's Neuroscience Research Insitute, the Centre will also become an international centre-of-excellence aimed at making a significant difference to the lives of people who suffer a spinal cord injury. Research will focus on protection of nerves in the spinal cord immediately following damage caused by accidents or falls (neuroprotection) and to nerve regrowth (reconnection). Your support will help these people take their first step to a better quality of life.
