We believe our projects are unique, helping highly stressed children and young people in fragile, fractured communities break cycles of violence and improve their educational performance by expressing themselves through music, dance and movement. Capoeira is non-violent and non-contact and teaches self-respect and respect for others. Our projects take place with the support of a psychosocial counselor to help children move forward from the abuse and violence that often surrounds them, to get a better education and make more positive life choices. Any gift can make a big difference to our work, but a regular gift helps us to plan better for the future.
