Cancer Fund for Children supports children diagnosed with cancer and their families by offering practical and emotional support including nurturing breaks. We are currently launching a Capital Appeal to build our second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo which will ensure that no family in Ireland faces cancer alone.
Hospice at Home provide a free trained nursing service at home for people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses and supports their families and carers. Nursing and support services are provided free of charge to patients in North and East Cumbria and the city of Carlisle.
The Point Lookout SLSC Junior Activities Program (Nippers) offers a unique program for children aged between 5 and 14 years. Our program currently has just over 240 children actively involved and is run every Saturday from October to March. Fundraising plays a huge part of our existence, without this we wouldn't be able to provide the high quality program we deliver week in, week out developing skills into our future lifesavers/community volunteers who endeavour to keep our beached safe.
