The aim is to support local hospitals by funding equipment, services and research to assist the hospitals in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of all chest diseases. Our aid is requested by Consultant Chest Physicians and the items are not usually available from NHS sources. Our object is to ensure that Gloucestershire has 'Centres of Excellence' for the treatment of chest diseases.

We are marking the occasion with a special Bicentenary exhibition opening on 25 March 2015. We have received a £100,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant to part-fund the exhibition but need to raise a further £100,000 ourselves. Please help us to do this.
