(AU, 70063501191) Browse eventsTime for Kids is for kids who need a break. We match children and young people with caring volunteers for regular part time care - usually for one day or weekend a month, or for blocks of time during the school holidays. The children and young people we work with are often dealing with multiple complex challenges such as poverty, parental illness or a lack of access to the sorts of opportunities most of us take for granted. Since Time for Kids began in 1960, our volunteers have changed the lives of more than 4700 children and young people in South Australia. Our philosophy is simple: sharing time changes lives. We believe that every child deserves to know they are valued and that their future can be bright. Some kids just need a break to help them on their way.
