High quality education for poor children in Nazret,Ethiopia. The UK registered charity Ethiopian Schools for the Poor - English Alive’s mission is to offer a high quality education to disadvantaged pupils. The charity operates the English Alive Academy, which was established in 2004, a school that delivers high quality, full-time education to disadvantaged children aged 3 – 12 who live in and around the city of Nazret in EthiopiaEnglish Alive Academy, Ethiopia, has 190 students, aged between 3 and 12. Fifteen per cent of our students have lost one or both of their parents through disease. Our pupils endure daily hardships rooted in poverty, such as illness, unreliable access to food or clean water, and chaotic family lives.
