Seven Spikes Relief Foundation is a volunteer-led registered charity (No. 1170486). We provide help and relief to those in abject poverty or critical health conditions in the extremely deprived rural areas of, mainly but not exclusively, Egypt. All of our members in the UK and elsewhere are volunteers who work free of charge for the sake of Allah. Therefore, we guarantee that we will pay 100% of the donations we receive from you to those itnded to receive it.Therefore, as a new small charity we take Egypt as a starting point. Yet we still consider other countries and individual cases when possible and confirmed by proper documents or a trustworthy field worked in these areas. We also help Syrian refugees and other nationalities in Egypt. We also work with other charities that we trust. JZK Our name “Seven Spikes” is derived from the Qur’anic verse that reads: {مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ) {The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed .Thus, “Seven Spikes” is an indication of how the reward of what you spend as a charity or Zakah is multiplied by seven hundred, in the same way a single grain of wheat grows seven spikes (ears) with each spike containing hundred grains, totaling seven hundred. Thus, just like a single grain produces seven hundred grains, Allah, the Exalted, multiplies the reward of your donation by seven hundred or more.
