APTCOO works to improve the quality of life for families with disabled children and or special educational needs (SEN) supporting them to increase their independence and firstly realise and progressively reach their full potential. Our vision is to create a centre of excellence using a hub and spoke model based in Mansfield and providing to the service users throughout the county of Nottinghamshire through a Single Point of Access. We do this by: * Working with parents and carers of children with a disability, offering information, emotional and group support. * We raise public awareness of the needs of disabled children or children with special educational needs. * We provide facilities which offer an equal opportunity for positive play and educational development for children and young people of all abilities in a safe and stimulating environment. * We encourage local partnership working to meet the expressed needs of children and young people who have special educational needs (SEN) or a disability, their parents carer’s and families.
