St Peter’s Shipley is an Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Leeds. The church building on Moorhead Lane is used primarily as a venue for worship. The objectives overseen by the Parochial Church Council (as Trustees) are: generally advancing the Christian religion and educating people about it; pastoral care of parishioners; and missionary and evangelistic outreach. In addition the charity provides buildings facilities and space to the local community and makes grants to certain Christian mission organisations.
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that respect the Second Amendment and protect people from gun violence. Moms Demand Action campaigns for new and stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our children and families.
