Dream for the Future’s mission is to provide educational opportunities to underprivileged children in developing countries. We believe children are the future and to have a successful future we must invest in them by giving them the opportunities and education they need and deserve. Today, nearly 60% of Africa’s population is below the age of 25, and that percentage is growing. If they are given the learning opportunity they deserve, they could change poverty in their countries. Most of the children live in underserved rural areas we work with don’t benefit from the quality of education especially digital learning. Nearly 9 out of 10 youth in Africa between the ages of 15 and 24 – are not connected to the internet. To be disconnected in a digital world is to lose an opportunity to learn, build essential skills, and at-risk children have fewer chances to succeed. Investing in children’s education and access to technology seems to be a promising future for young people in Africa to step out of extreme poverty.
