In 1962 the HAC was registered as a charity "for military exercise and training and for the better defence of the realm’. Since 1908 the HAC has been a regimental of the Territorial Army and now the Army Reserve. The HAC1537 is a two-year charitable partnership between the Honourable Artillery Company and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Drawing inspiration from the HAC’s founding year, the partnership exists with the intent to raise £500,000 for the Charity while increasing the awareness of the Charity and our work among HAC members. We are organising a charity cycle ride to Gavrelle in April 2017 to raise money for ABF - the Soldiers Charity.

Each deafblind person is unique, and sometimes has complicated needs; often their deafblindness is combined with other disabilities, so a care programme can be very complex. By providing human support in the form of help at home, communication and mobility support, counselling, together with specially adaptive equipment, we help deafblind people achieve their full potential, whatever that may be.
