(UK, 1167783) The Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust was set up in memory of Grace Elizabeth Kelly who passed away at the age of just 4 1/4 from a rare aggressive tumour on her kidney called a Malignant Rhabdoid Tumour. She went from being a happy, healthy school girl to passing away within 3 weeks. The Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust for research into rare solid tumours of childhood, including malignant rhabdoid tumours is working to provide grants and funding for research into these tumours. We are also working to improve awareness of childhood cancer and the symptoms children may present with. Childhood cancer affects 1 in every 285 children before their 20th birthday. It is also the biggest medical cause of death of children in the UK. Despite this fact, research is massively underfunded. We are fighting to change this. We are working to save lives to fulfill Grace's wish of helping others.

YTD Raised: £12,451.24The Fletchers' Trust main focus is supporting archers with disability, physical and mental, including those who are visually impaired. We award grants to newcomers to archery as well as to experienced and elite national archers. Our support includes helping clubs improve their facilities for the disabled and contributing to the costs of a number of competitions. We receive many wonderful letters of thanks from recipients testifying to the positive, sometimes transformational, psychological and physical benefits of taking up archery. You can read some of these stories on this website. Anyone wishing to apply to the Trust for assistance should contact our Honorary Almoner by downloading, completing and sending in a grant application form. We are proud to have been able to assist members of the GB Paralympic archers in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016 and most recently at the delayed Tokyo 2020 games. We are now launching an appeal to raise special additional funding for to support the GB Paralympic archers in their bid to achieve continued success in the Paris 2024 games and beyond. If you feel you can support us in this endeavour please contact us. We help individuals to purchase equipment – bows, arrows etc – as recommended by their coach. We make grants for new club facilities and equipment. We help with the costs of running events.

YTD Raised: £12,432.23Exeter City Football in the Community Charity works in collaborative partnerships to deliver physical activity, health and wellbeing and educational services and experiences for people of all ages and abilities throughout Devon. The charity operates in four main areas: education, social inclusion, health and sports participation and engages more than 50,000 children, young people and adults per year in programmes within these areas. The charity provides more than 4,500 holiday club places and 6,000 after-school club places and more than 3,300 sessions for people with learning difficulties as part of the Ability Counts programme. More than 1,000 players take part in street soccer and there is a full cohort of girls training at the Devon FA player development centre. Football in the Community also delivers external educational programmes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and a fully accredited Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport. The charity works in partnership with many external bodies, such as Devon County Council, Exeter College, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, Lloyds TSB and Exeter City Council. Exeter City Football in the Community Charity is a registered charity (Charity No 1121596).
