We are volunteers who offer support to such people by phone,e.mail and face to face. We have premises in the centre of Liverpool,near the universities and have to be entirely self funding to keep our service available for the local community and Merseyside and for any one who want to phone or email from anywhere. We also do work in two local prisons.

We place victims’ voices at the heart of all we do, and our specialist team works with drive and passion to help people escape from violence and change their lives. We manage two women's refuges in Sandwell which provide safe supportive environments to women and children escaping domestic abuse. Our Humdard service offers support specifically to South Asian women, specialising in issues of forced marriage and honour-based violence. In Sandwell, Dudley and Wolverhampton, we have a have a specialist rape and sexual violence service supporting and offering counselling to women, men and children who have suffered rape and sexual abuse. Our specialist young people's team works with young people in and out of school to support victims and prevent growing rates of domestic abuse, sexual violence and sexual exploitation amongst young people. Your donation can help us to help survivors of abuse rebuild their lives: £5 could pay for an arrival pack to welcome a child arriving in refuge who has had to leave their home with nothing £10 could pay for an emergency care pack of milk, nappies and wipes for a mother and baby arriving in refuge £20 could pay for our 24 hour domestic violence helpline to be staffed for an hour so we can respond to people when they need us £30 could pay for a one-to-one counselling session for a distressed victim of sexual violence, helping them to overcome the trauma of abuse £50 could pay for an awareness session for teenagers around teenage relationship abuse, helping them keep themselves and others safe and healthy £100 could pay for interpreting services to give a voice to vulnerable women who have been trafficked internationally £200 could pay for a Christmas party for children and families in refuge, offering an important chance for fun and friendship to people in the most difficult circumstances £500 could play for a play worker in refuge for a week, to work with mothers and children to build strong relationships and move past the trauma of their experiences £1000 could pay for a poster and leaflet campaign around Sandwell to warn vulnerable young people about the dangers of sexual exploitation, making sure we reach those who really need us
