Providing young disabled people with ordinary leisure experiences should not be a luxury, it should be a given. Our purpose We aim to raise at least £250,000 every year to help thousands of disabled people throughout the North East. This is the fundraising page for 'The Valley Room', a new building which will provide additional learning space needed for Valley Road Primary School.Our target is £40,000. We have made a good start and raised £8,000 so far but need help raising more funds. The new room we would like to build will be called ‘The Valley Room’ and will be a multi-use learning space but it will predominately be used for music lessons, the Breakfast and After School Club and 1:1 learning which is so important for the children. Currently music lessons and 1:1 learning can happen in far from ideal locations such as in corridors or meeting rooms. This room will also be used by the local community too during non-school time by holiday and music clubs and so it will not just benefit the School children but the wider community too.
