(UK, 1167178) Our vision is to connect young people with even younger people to strengthen London’s communities.The Kids Network provides a sustainable, scalable, and effective solution to the twin problems of poverty and isolation by bringing an innovative approach to the volunteering sector.London’s transient nature and gentrification means that we have young, compassionate professionals living side by side with some of London’s most vulnerable children. The Kids Network is a mentoring charity that connects these two groups for positive social change. The Kids Network works with disadvantaged children aged 8-11 before they transition into secondary school. We do this by providing them with a volunteer mentor who works with them on a one to one weekly basis across a full year. The sessions are child led and goal orientated, designed to develop crucial social emotional capabilities. Our approach is preventative and impactful to give the child the best chance to fulfil their potential.We also provide a first class volunteering experience for young professionals who feel disconnected with their communities. The Kids Network provides extensive training, a peer network and social activities to support each other in their roles as mentors.Please support our cause - there are so many children who would really benefit from our help.
