We aim to achieve this by helping people to recognise the relevance and value of the environment to their lives; to see and experience first-hand the impact of plastic pollution on nature; and to support good choices in purchasing, use and disposal of plastics, as we move to a more sustainable community. By working with local communities, businesses, organisations and government we aim to: Raise awareness of our environment and how it is affected by plastic. Reduce the consumption of single-use plastics in North Devon. Clear waste plastic from our coasts, waterways, countryside and urban areas. Recycle and dispose of used plastics in an appropriate way.

This usually requires long deployments, putting extreme pressure on both the soldiers and their families. The primary role of the Special Reconnaissance Regimental Association (SRRA) is to support the wellbeing of former and serving Operators and their families. We are welfare-focused, providing our members, with a discreet and trusted network of support for themselves and their immediate families. Our small team understands the difficult working and living conditions of our membership – each having served in, or alongside, the Regiment for several years. We work diligently and empathetically on behalf of the President, Executive Committee and membership. The primary role of the Association is to support the wellbeing of former and serving Operators and their immediate families. This is enabled by our generous benefactors, supporters and friends, whose donations are spent in accordance with our charitable objectives. An overview of our charitable expenditure is available on the Charities Commission (England and Wales) registered charity number 1147005.

They discovered that they had common concerns around what would happen to their children when they, the parents, were no longer able to look after them. FOR ONE WEEK ONLY we have organised for a group of generous benefactors to make pledges to match POUND FOR POUND every penny donated to the Project up to a maximum of £10,000. We now support over 150 adults with learning disabilities across Notts and we are desperately in need of funds particularly to support our new base in Mansfield and to keep our work going. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY as we will not get an opportunity like this again for a long time. THANK YOU
