(UK, 1170215) Browse eventsChildhood is a precious, fragile experience. Children exposed to the streets - especially those from refugee, displaced or migrant backgrounds - face specific challenges and vulnerabilities, and are often forced to make adult decisions far too early. . Cities for Children (CfC) seeks to protect what we call the “right to a childhood” for children in urban poverty, especially those on the move and at risk. We do this by knitting together three programmatic strands:• The Right to Read (literacy)• The Right to Play (recreation)• The Right to Feel Safe (psychosocial support)We work through strong partnerships with under-resourced organisations providing education or protection services to street-connected children. By offering technical and material support, we help those doing good to do even better. Charity No: 1170215
