Southam 2000 meet every Thursday evening. Rotarians visiting the area and anyone else wanting to find out about Rotary will be welcome at our meetings. Southam 2000 is a lively club of women and men with a busy program of meetings and activities. During this Rotary year we will be continuing our varied programme, working directly with the young and old in our local area, partnering Rotary clubs in Asia and Africa on international projects and supporting local and international charities. (IE, CHY6062KB) The Kildare branch of Down Syndrome Ireland is a voluntary organisation supporting people with Down Syndrome and their families. The Kildare branch was started in 1985 by a group of parents and it now supports and represents 190 families throughout County Kildare. Our purpose is not only to support people and families with Down Syndrome but also to promote a positive attitude towards Down Syndrome. The organisation’s mission is to help people with Down Syndrome make their own futures as bright and independent as possible. The Kildare branch is run by volunteer parents working on the committee and providing members with a wide range of services and social opportunities.
