We also have a vision for projects in Sierra Leone that will provide medical care, jobs, education and more to thousands of families and children in desperate circumstances. We believe that by saving lives and empowering Sierra Leones citizens to be self-sufficient, they will become catalysts for sustainable change within their country. Together with Kingston Hospital Radio the Friends have over 50 unpaid volunteers who raise funds in many ways and in the last ten years alone have donated over £500,000 to many excellent Hospital projects.
