St Peter’s Shipley is an Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Leeds. The church building on Moorhead Lane is used primarily as a venue for worship. The objectives overseen by the Parochial Church Council (as Trustees) are: generally advancing the Christian religion and educating people about it; pastoral care of parishioners; and missionary and evangelistic outreach. In addition the charity provides buildings facilities and space to the local community and makes grants to certain Christian mission organisations.
