Rockdale Housing Association was set up over 60 years ago with the aim of providing housing and care for older people in Sevenoaks. It was largely the result of the determination of one woman - Miss Beatrice Wilson - a gifted physiotherapist with a vision to improve the quality of older peoples lives in the town. We have two beautiful sites just off the High Street in Sevenoaks, Kent, where we have over 150 sheltered flats and our residential care home, Rockdale House. Our priority at present is to raise funds to build a new, bigger residential care home on its site in Sevenoaks. This will allow us to continue to provide affordable accommodation and care for vulnerable older people well into the future. The Association is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act on charitable model rules. It is also registered with the Tenant Services Authority and is a member of the National Housing Federation.
*** SEE THE LATEST NEWS ***AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE We are a fun and active social Club set up in Newmarket in Suffolk to give local adults (of all ages) with learning difficulties and disabilities a weekly social venue where we provide entertaining activities with chances to try new things (or just enjoy the old things) and meet up with their friends. Always a jolly place to be on a Thursday night, we also love to organise bigger events further afield whenever we can. All funds raised go direct to providing those activities and helping out with Club expenses like hiring venues etc. The Club receives no Government or funding. All the volunteers kindly give their time freely which ensures any money raised gets used directly for the benefit of the Members. *** LATEST NEWS ***We are very excited to announce that our Club Secretary Steve is running in both the Brighton and London Marathons (on the 18th and 25th of April 2010) for us (and bless, he really is not a natural runner) and we really would greatly appreciate your generous donation to support his efforts. Dont forget to tell your friends too! *** LATEST LATEST NEWS ***Steve tells us its even better than that - hes running the London Marathon with the Virgin Money team!!! But that does mean he has to raise over £500 in donations on this site so please do help if you can :) *** EVEN LATER LATEST NEWS ***Steve attended a training session organised by Virgin Money for the London Marathon with Liz Yelling the Olympic Marathon Runner and found out hes starting from the green start zone with all the celebs though hes more excited about the exclusive toilets!)

Nobody pays and the Trust totally relies on fundraising events and voluntary donations for income.
The Friends of Bolnore Village Primary School is made up of enthusiastic parents and staff who work together to create fundraising & social events that raise much needed funds to further enhance our children's learning experiences and enrichment opportunities at school. Like many others, our school’s budget is struggling due to the current Government budget cuts and funding formula proposals. In light of this, the Governors have asked for our financial help towards the provision of Forest School & Music. These are both areas of the curriculum which the school would struggle to continue operating in their current unique and successful manner without your support. It is very likely that we will be asked to support these and other essential curriculum areas for the foreseeable future. So, more than ever before, the fundraising by FoBVPS and the parents/community who support our events are making a real difference. Every donation is appreciated, no matter how big or small and directly benefits the children at the school. If you would like to support the school, you can make a one off donation or set up a regular monthly donation is this page. A donation can be anonymous and the great thing is that as a charity we are also able to benefit from gift aid e.g if you donate £5 we get the donation and an additional £1.25 in gift aid 😊.Alternatively, if you would like to set up your own fundrasing event, do a sponsored activity or simply just raise funds for the school, then click on the 'create a fundraising page' or contact us and we can help set it up with you. With your support we have previously been delighted to be able fund the provision of Forest School and Music, computers, iPads, educational workshops, sports & outdoor play equipment, elf day classroom presents and much more.Thank you for visiting our BT Donate Page and your support.
