Some of our young people, ages 11-18 are within the autistic spectrum and many have educational difficulties. We aim to increase self esteem and promote self confidence by giving the young people opportunities to try a range of different activities - cooking, sport, outdoor pursuits. We also provide a safe place for these young people to meet and socialize with friends and peers in a supervised environment on a weekly basis. Decuria Youth Club runs solely by fundraising activities and the work of a dedicated team of volunteers.

Adults attending the service work in one of four work activities: woodwork, garden nursery, arts and crafts, and landscape gardening. Northdale has a strong work ethic and aims to provide a realistic work place via both on-site and off-site work with any surplus income being used to advance the work of the charity. In addition to work based activities Northdale also provides a range of social and creative activities and works positively with a range of partners within the local community to advance the opportunities available to adults with learning disabilities in the Hambleton and Richmondshire districts of North Yorkshire.
