(AU, 57162909284) One Disease believes that no Australian should die of a preventable disease. Our mission is to eliminate disease from remote Indigenous communities, one disease at a time. First on the hit list is scabies, which affects 7 in 10 children before they turn 1. Scabies is a mite which gets under your skin. What starts as an innocent itch can result in life threatening illnesses if left untreated, such as rheumatic heart disease and kidney failure.

Hope for Southall Street Homeless is a community initiative born out of a desire to see real change for the better in the lives of people who are sleeping rough in Southall.We provide a place of sanctuary every night of the year for those who would otherwise be sleeping rough on our streets. We offer a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere in a place of safety, with an evening meal, a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning.In addition we work to support our guests to move on in their lives by tackling the obstacles they need to deal with, such as drug or alcohol misuse and mental and physical health issues.Much of our work is done by unpaid volunteers. Nonetheless we could not deliver our service without our full-time manager and key people in some other paid roles running the shelter night by night. NEPCAM is run by a team of dedicated volunteers in Australia and works closely with indigenous NGO's on the ground who share NEPCAM's overall vision of poverty eradication and sustainable development for children and their families in countries like Cambodia. We have, as a major focus, the importance of education within communities. We do this by several options. Sponsor a child, Sponsor a university student, Community projects and Gift shop donations. NEPCAM has no paid employees. All administrative services are either privately funded or are provided on a voluntary basis without charge or expense to the organisation here in Australia.
