The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) supports families and individuals affected by Retinoblastoma (eye cancer). We provide support in many emotional and practical ways, fund research, raise awareness of this potentially fatal disease and campaign for better service provision.

Hastings Public School P&C aims to fundraise to support our wonderful school in the purchase of extra items that will brighten the lives of the children and teachers. In the last few years our efforts have purchased a new sensory garden for the children, blinds for classrooms and new climbing equipment among other smaller purchases. Currently our canteen is in need of refurbishment and we have an ultimate goal of a second COLA which would provide shade and weather protection for children at lunch time and while waiting for their bus. Amy & Friends provide support for the health and well being of sufferers of Cockayne Syndrome and their families and carers. We provide an annual members retreat where families spend time in each other's company and meet leading doctors and researchers. We also provide a family support worker.
The Lord's Taverners aims to give young people, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance. We achieve this by encouraging participation in youth cricket, particularly in disadvantaged areas, and supporting recreational and sporting activities for youngsters with special needs.
