We Strive To Achieve Our school motto is "We Strive To Achieve". This shared ideal is the foundation of all that our school does and seeks to do.
We are a rural school with with a roll that ranges from 180-220 depending on the time of year. We are located in Apotu Road five minutes out of Kamo in Whangarei. We cater for year 1-6 children. We operate nine multi-level classrooms with a big focus on the importance of play. Wellbeing and emotional intelligence are a driving force in our school. We believe that if we get this right, learning will follow. Learning is all about relationships, so we make that one of our core responsibilities as a staff.
Everything we do is about gospel restoration. Our goal is to alleviate poverty through restored relationships. We accomplish this through faith-based education, transportation, workforce development, and financial empowerment to see dignity and relationships restored by the power of the gospel.

Each year the Good Friday Appeal brings together people from all parts of the community to raise much needed funds for equipment, research and education to support the work of The Royal Children’s Hospital. The strength of the Good Friday Appeal lies with the thousands of people who volunteer their time, expertise and creativity to organise fundraising activities throughout the year. Together they have raised more than $258 million for the benefit of the hospital since the Good Friday Appeal began in 1931. The Good Friday Appeal is a non denominational, non political organisation that exists solely to raise funds for the benefit of The Royal Children’s Hospital.
