AWF was set up in 1983 by vets with a passion to alleviate unnecessary pain and suffering in all animals and to improve their welfare through science, education and debate. Farm animals, working animals, wild animals and pets – all need our expert help and with your help we can provide it.
Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in Alton and surrounding villages.
Supporting rural communities and charities worldwide, DCT aims to alleviate hunger, provide access to clean water sources, support education, building toilets, classrooms and other amenities that are considered basic human rights to us but sadly may not be affordable in rural communities.
In 2022, our small team empowered over 6,000 vulnerable people and those from diverse communities. More than 50% of our clients were living in poverty and we delivered holistic advice to maximise their incomes, tackle inequality and increase access to life and employment opportunities.
The Parachute Regimental Association allows those that served on joint operations an opportunity to continue the close bonds they developed. This encompasses Aden, the Falklands, NI, Iraq and Afghanistan. It is available to all those who have served with the Parachute Regiment or Airborne Forces.
A Trussell Trust Food bank that provides emergency food parcels and signposting services to local people in crisis in Market Drayton and surrounding area.
