Each year the High Holy Day appeal raises funds for a local secular charity, an Israeli charity and a Jewish charity based in the UK. TLSE also donates quarterly to emergencies wherever they may occur around the world.

As a registered charity, all donations over $2 are tax deductable, with the proceeds being shared between Launceston Benevolent Society, Launceston City Mission, St Vincent de Paul Society, The Salvation Army, Uniting Care Tasmania, Hobart City Mission, Mission Australia, Anglicare and Colony 47. Forming in 1988, The ABC Giving Tree has been helping Tasmanian families in need have a happier Christmas for 27 years. Help continue the tradition and donate here.
