(UK, 526622) The vision of our earliest benefactors, Henry Bury and Roger Kay, was to found a school that would educate young people to the highest possible standard; over 400 years later we continue to uphold their legacy of excellence in education. Our students leave us as mature, responsible, confident and well balanced young adults. They embrace life with a positive attitude and a quest for knowledge which has been instilled in them at BGS. They will make a difference in the world. We must continue to raise funds for capital projects if we are to provide our students with the facilities and resources they need in an ever-changing world. At the same time, we strive to increase bursary funding to provide assistance to bright children whose parents are unable to afford our fees. The children who receive bursaries are often amongst our highest achievers; they deserve the life-enhancing opportunity of a BGS education. We rely upon the help of our community. We ask you to give as you are able to ensure our future success and guarantee that others may benefit from the type of education you received. We thank you warmly for your kind consideration of our Schools.

YTD Raised: £0.00Karers 4 Kidz was originally used as an umbrella term for parents, teachers, social and healthcare workers and all those who care for children and young people. Founded by parents of a daughter with cerebral palsy, K4K became a registered charity in October 2005. The charity has no paid staff and relies entirely upon its sponsors, partners and supporters in order to fulfil its objectives. We focus on projects that promote and advance the wellbeing of children and young people, in particular those who are disabled and disadvantaged. We provide inclusive educational and recreational facilities for disabled children in addition to campaigning for equality of access and opportunity for all. We provide information, support and assistance to those who care for disabled children, and encourage parents to work together for the benefit of not only their own children, but also for the wider community.
