The aim of this trek is two fold: firstly to raise awareness to ultimately increate the rate of organ and tissue donation in Australia and secondly to raise funds for the SLDO I Assist program which assists hospital patients who have organ failure and are suffering financial duress as a consequence of their medical condition. The Kokoda Track stretches 96 kilometres through what is arguably some of the most rugged and wild jungle in the world. This track holds an extremely important place in Australian history.
