They respond to medical emergencies and accidents when time is critical or when the location is remote and difficult. Life Flight flies 1500 people every year and is free to the patient. They rely on $2500 from the community for every mission flown. The Life Flight Trust is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005. Registration number CC24283.
