A community rugby club that provides a facility for both adults and children of all ages and abilities to play and enjoy rugby football in a structured a safe environment.
Whitley ABC is a local Amateur boxing club Established in 2015, working hard to keep young kids away from gangs/crime and keep them off the streets, giving them a safe environment to learn boxing, respect and self-discipline. So far, this season, we have 4 home counties champions, 3 national finalists and currently have a school boy boxer down to the last 2 in the country for the national final. The subs taken each class sadly don’t cover the costs for taking our boxers to the shows, getting the boxers food, fuel, travel and hotels, when we are traveling up and down the country, week in week out. As we are a “not for profit”, self-funded registered charity run boxing club, ran solely by volunteers. we are looking for help with the day to day running costs associated with the gym, these include medical costs, boxing shows and kit. We are simply trying to give the youngsters of Whitey and surrounding areas a fair crack of the whip, with 8 of our young boxers competing in the national championships in September 2018. Any donations will be gratefully received and help with the progression of the club.
