Samuel Rhodes is a special needs school in North London for 112 children aged 5-19 years who have a range of learning, speech, language, communication, social and behavioural needs. It has the highest amount of disadvantaged children in the local authority. We passionately believe that the children who face the toughest challengesevery day deserve the best chance to improve their life outcomes. Social disadvantage and learning disabilities can affect generations, so at Samuel Rhodes we strive to disrupt this cycle through an exciting curriculum and regular enrichment activities therebychanging children’s experience of society and their self-belief. Family poverty and disadvantage should not define a child’s chances,(though our research indicates that currently this is the mainpredictor). Our children love school and are lively and enthusiastic about every opportunity they are offered, which empowers them to try new things. This helps them to make friends and embeds lifelong learning. Please donate to support our cause. We need to raise £50,000 every year to runthe personalised enrichment programme of activities and events which we knowenables learning and compliments the curriculum. This will give socially isolated young peoplethe opportunity to experience outdoor activities, take risks, develop theirself-esteem, and HAVE FUN! Thank you for your support, it makes a lifelongdifference! Charity No: 1112312

Nestled on the banks of the River Thames in the leafy suburb of Teddington stands the new pupose built secondary school offering students a learning environment quite unlike that of most state schools. Boasting state of the art music & IT equipment, interactive work spaces, a theatre and multi purpose sports hall this school provides a varied education and opportunities for students to flourish and excel. But.... theres more to a school than the fabric. It's the people that make all the difference! Working alongside the staff and students is a very active PTA organising events and activities to support student learning across the curriculum providing support for things such as online tuition subscriptions, music equipment, sports equipment, mini buses, awards evenings, drama competitions, outdoor equipments, extra curricular clubs and activities and much much more. None of this is possible without the generous support of parents, relatives and friends. Please continue to help raise funds to give the students of Teddington School the best education possible.
