The Charity has also helped family's raising monies for seriously ill children who have needed emergency treatment to save them. Over 2 Million Pounds has been given to the community since 1989 by the Prison Service Charity Fund committee. Our funds are donated by staff, but anyone can be a member donating monies from their salaries. Five of our staff are running the Great North Run this year on September the 7th. Please support them to raise money for this charity which has never failed to support the community for over the past twenty five years. Thank you Ken Wingfield MBE.
