(US, 930710963) We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence. The mission of Raphael House is to engage our entire community in non-violent living through advocacy, education, and community outreach, and by providing a safe haven from domestic violence, and we've been doing so since 1977. We are a multi-faceted domestic violence prevention/intervention agency dedicated to fighting the causes and effects of intimate partner violence in a variety of ways. We offer emergency shelter in a confidential location, safety planning and advocacy on a 24-hour in-house crisis line, and transitional housing and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence enrolled in our Transitional Housing Program. Nearly 100 families are served in the emergency shelter each year, and more than 5,000 callers are offered safety planning and advocacy on our in-house crisis line. An additional 400 survivors receive non-residential services via our Advocacy Center each year. In addition to serving a diverse community of women and children escaping domestic violence, Raphael House also works to eliminate the causes of family and intimate partner violence through community education and outreach, facilitating training in schools, with healthcare providers, and with local businesses and community groups.

YTD Raised: £0.003rd Sudbury Scout Group was formed in 1912 making 2012 our centenary year. We are a thriving group with approximately 120 boys and girls. We have a Beaver Colony, 2 Cub Packs, Scout Troop, Sea Scout Troop and District Explorer Unit. We take part in many events throughout the year such as weekend camps, day trips, canoeing, sailing, night hikes, pioneering, first aid practice, climbing, abseiling and lots more. There is never a dull moment and always so much to learn and enjoy. To enable us to continue to provide the equipment and facilities to carry out these activities, we fundraise regularly.

(UK, 1099452) We founded PCT as a charitable trust (UK registered charity number 1099452) and the trustees aim is to support projects working towards the conservation of carnivores through scientific research and community participation and education.One of the core principles of PCT is that all funds raised or donated goes directly to the projects we support. The conservation projects apply for grants and report on how the money is spent so we know and can tell our supporters exactly where the money is spent and the outcomes of the project. PCT is run by unpaid trustees and volunteers so every penny raised goes towards conservation and education. There are no administration fees and any costs incurred are counted as a donation to PCT.All projects supported are carnivore conservation projects as conserving flagship, umbrella species means the conservation of all other species and the habitat. The projects also incorporate educaton and community involvement, working towards solving Human-Wildlife Conflict (HWC) thus making the whole project sustainable. PCT is run by volunteers so we can guarantee all money donated goes directly to conservation projects. We do not take any admin fees and we will never share your information with a third party. We are committed to the conservation and protection of all wildlife and habitats on this planet in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We aim to achieve this by supporting community based conservation projects which conserve keystone species thus conserving all other species.
