The University of The Bahamas US Foundation is a public tax-exempt charitable body, organized under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the US Code. It was founded in 2019 by alumni and friends of University of The Bahamas in the United States and is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Foundation is staffed by an Executive Director and composed of volunteer board members who contribute their time and resources to enhancing the public awareness of the University and its programs. The University of The Bahamas US Foundation works alongside with the University’s Division of Institutional Advancement in building links both amongst US-based alumni and friends, and between them and the University. The Foundation aims to further its goals through fund-raising and grant-making, and strives to do its part to enhance and enrich the academic and student life of the University.
