Our aim is to assist families experiencing food poverty in Islington and the surrounding areas in a compassionate and friendly environment. Once a week, we provide food and essentials to those in need, as well as light refreshments. Our Foodbank is open to all and run exclusively by volunteers.
Ashbrooke Sports Club has long been the home of traditional sports in Sunderland. Set in the Victorian suburb of Ashbrooke the club is just five minutes walk from the city centre. We currently host Bowls, Cricket, Hockey, Rugby Union and Squash with competitive teams in each sport.
Established in 2017, Collier Row Mosque is the area's first and only mosque, quickly becoming a vibrant and welcoming community hub.

The PTA is a registered charity set up to fund raise for activities and adventures for the children of Chinley Primary School. All funds raised go back directly in to the school for the children to benefit from things like school trips, new reading books and resources needed in the classrooms

The Ratby Co-operative Band was founded in 1906 and now comprises of five brass bands performing each week. The organisation has around 200 regular members across its five ensembles and aims to make music more than just playing an instrument, offering an inclusive, welcoming band environment to all.
