(UK, 1105617) Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Funding cuts mean that we are not able to offer support to some of the most disadvantaged families in the Wakefield District. With your support we can reach more parents and children and provide much needed help. Home-Start Wakefield & District believes that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play a key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them achieve their full potential. Please help us to achieve this. Please donate to support our cause. Home-Start has been operating in the Wakefield District since 1991. We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers who are usually parents themselves, to visit families at home who have at least on child under 5 years. Our volunteers offer informal, friendly and confidential support. Please help us to reach more families and give the support they need.
