The PTA offers financial support for learning related initiatives which would not otherwise be possible within the constraints of the school budget.We look to do this by organising fun, community based events for parents, teachers and children throughout the year. We rely on parent and local community support to raise much needed additional funding for the school.Please donate to support our cause and make our school such a great place! Thanks!! Forthcoming events:In June 2018 we will be hosting our annual Summer Fete, the jewel in the crown of not only the Summer Term but the whole school year! We will also be fielding a running team for the Ealing Half Marathon in September for the first time! YTD Raised: $0.00The Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) increases food security for underserved populations in North King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy. HIP began in 1998 as a volunteer-run organization and today operates a range of programs to address hunger including: 1) Summer and afterschool meal programs that supplement school-run nutrition programs; 2) Healthy HIP packs which provide food for children during the weekend when school meals are not available; 3) A community meal program for seniors that provides accessible and affordable nutrition with the opportunity for socialization; and 4) Cooking/nutrition classes and food justice workshops that empower people to take control of their food. Beyond these four major programs, HIP is actively engaged with many local, statewide, and national coalitions of food justice organizations to advocate for policy level changes to address hunger. HIP has a strong partnership with many community organizations to bring integrated services to underserved populations.
