And constantly challenge prejudices and ignorance, we influence changes in laws, services and public awareness. This assists people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose.We also support people with a learning disability and their families by run regular meetings, to keep everyone aware of changes that may directly or indirectly affect them. Social activities are arranged throughout the year for our members and friends. Our vision is simple, to create a better environment where people are valued, included and involved. From our network of local offices in Belfast, Coleraine, Fermanagh, L/Derry and Bangor, we provide advice, support, training and information as well as practical environmental improvements including tree planting, dry stone walling, path creation, woodland management, pond construction, hedgelaying, building school nature areas and creating informal urban open spaces.
