ADI specialises in deploying volunteer doctors and health managers to work in partnership with local government and church health providers to deliver We work in PNG’s New Ireland and Western Provinces and every year treat over 5,500 patients and conduct over 830 hours of clinical training for local health workers and hospital staff. ADI’s field programs are grassroots, hands-on and practical, and we implement PNG and Australian health policy. Long-term programs include:
Bikes for Humanity Sydney (BfHS) collects disused bikes and provides them to communities in need around Australia and overseas. Our bikes change lives forever by increasing access to education, employment and health care through improved mobility and self-empowerment. In Africa shipping containers become pre-built bicycle workshops providing employment opportunities and empowering these communities to sustain their own fleet of bikes. Bikes for Humanity – Sydney plan to: collect donated bikes from the Sydney communityrnrnrn raise funds to purchase a shipping container and ship the appropriate bikes to Africarnrnrn distribute bikes that are not appropriate for Africa within Australia.rnrnrn Please note that donations to BHS are

Grow is a national organisation that provides a peer supported program for growth and personal development to people with a mental illness and those people experiencing difficulty in coping with life’s challenges. The program is designed for people to take back control of their lives, over come obstacles and start living a life full of meaning, hope and optimism. Grow groups offer the opportunity for people to share challenges and solutions for recovery in a supportive and structured way. Participants are also able to attend education and training sessions and participate in a range of social activities. Grow is free to join and you don’t need a referral or diagnosis.
