We’re working side-by-side with our neighbors to address critical community needs that help kids develop into smart, resilient adults, for people to improve their health and build a sense of community, and for our most vulnerable young people to get the care and support they need.
The Royal Navy Officers' Charity (RNOC) is the principal Naval Officers charity. Established in 1739 as the Royal Navy Benevolent Society for Officers, the charity has recently adopted the working title of the RNOC. One of Britain’s oldest naval charities the RNOC provide benevolence to both serving and retired officers of both the regular and reserve Naval Service (RN, RM and QARNNS), their spouses, former spouses and dependants who require financial support.Today the charity offers financial support to serving and former officers, young and old at home in Europe and further afield in the Americas, Africa and Australasia.The charity provides assistance with the cost of nursing and care home fees, mobility aids, household repairs, the replacement of white goods and help with debts. In addition assistance is given in the form of regular grants to cover basic cost of living expenses. Further funding is available to help with training and education.
