(AU, 050019357) Browse eventsWe are very proud of Weston School, our students and the programmes that we offer. Being a full primary we enjoy a real family atmosphere, and utilise the skills of our senior students to support our junior students as and when we can. We take pride in working closely with whanau and our local community, to support our learners. We offer a wide variety of programmes - from academic, sporting and cultural opportunities - in both during and after school programmes. Our children take up these opportunities with much enthusiasm and as a result we have a presence in a wide range of local cultural and sporting competitions. We are an Enviroschool and are very proud of the rapid developments that are happening with this. As well as our extensive garden and planting programmes, we have our own recycling station that works alongside our local Waitaki Resource Recovery Centre. We also have a very fruitful garden, orchard, and tunnel house which we use to grow native seedlings and vegetables. Our natives have been used to develop riparian areas on farms in our community. We are an innovative and creative community of learners!
