Neami is a non-government mental health organisation that provides support services to people with serious mental illness within a recovery framework. Neami emphasises hope and directly assists consumers to build their confidence and skills to develop a sense of meaning and purpose in life. Neami uses the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) to support consumers to achieve their goals by assisting them to identify and enhance their strengths and values. Neami works to identify service gaps in the community, developing new services and achieving community acceptance and protection and expression of the rights of people with mental illness living in the community.
The Succeed Foundation The Succeed Foundation is a charity that brings together researchers, new technologies and individuals with eating disorders to develop evidenced-based tools to support recovery. The problem is big, in the UK alone 1.6 million people are affected by eating disorders. Through fundraising and investment in innovative research and the promotion of ground-breaking evidence-based treatments and preventions, the charity aims to tackle eating disorders in measurable way. The Succeed Foundation places a particular focus on the effective dissemination and implementation of these programmes and in partnership with researchers aims to make solutions available to all. With a fresh and positive approach to eating disorders, wellbeing and body image awareness, The Succeed Foundation is a young charity determined that many in need of help now will see benefits in the future.
