In his honour, Mum Heather, Dad David, younger brother Chris, family members and friends have contributed to a fund with the purpose of enabling those who demonstrate similar qualities to Alex to achieve the things he aspired to but was unable to complete The Alex Grose Memorial Fund has established an annual award through Scouts and Ashby School to encourage and recognise young people who go the extra mile in helping their peers, their community or their groups. It has also embarked upon a project to provide adventurous activity equipment at a local campsite used by Scouts and youth groups nationwide.
